I do really like the growly scream here. And the whispering adds to this song. Although, I can't stop thinking about how horrible his vocals can be live (I have seen several bad live videos).

Music

The music has just the right melodic guitar riffing to make me feel relaxed, even in a somewhat heavy themed song like this.

Lyrics

This song makes me think of rough times and ending your day looking at a beautiful dark night. There is something calming and accepting about looking into darkness. I am thankful that I have lived most of my life surrounded by natural beauty. I have seen the stars clearly in the sky.

This song could be taken a step further and you could say it is more than just accepting a rough time, it is someone's end. Sadly, it is common in more remote areas for people to go out into nature with the intention to not come back. Many people are found this way.
