Vocal

I wasn't expecting the type of vocal that came in with the chorus, but I liked it because it was passionate and memorable. The fact that he went on to do more of a scream was nice, too.

Music

The jackhammer drums sound programmed, but it doesn't bug me. They work for this type of music. I like how the guitar had an undertone that created a mysterious vibe during the chorus but also had more furious moments. The song was just the right length.

Lyrics

I don't know for sure if these are the lyrics or who they are referring to, but it makes me think of the many kings. Some were intensely brutal and willing to hurt their own family, while some ruled with great virtue. Apparently, the band is unwilling to release lyrics.
