Vocal

This vocal is odd and not what I was expecting. It feels like something that would be in a hit rock song. I like the growl. I do like the way the cleans follow the music and work okay with the growl, especially the parts when the clean vocal goes high, along with the growl.

Music

I like the music better than the vocal. It brings more of a sad but hopeful atmosphere. I think it is the keyboard that brings it in. I think it has the potential, with the right vocal, for this to be something I like.

Lyrics

This makes me think of my friend who said that she likes to garden because she feels like such a tiny insignificant part of things and it makes her feel better. I would find that feeling actually would make me feel worse, like I don't matter. I think people matter. Either way, we really are so tiny compared to the grandeur of the bottom of the deepest part of the ocean.
