I really enjoyed Withering Waves. It is on my first playlist. I wanted to check out more from this band.

Vocals

I like both vocalists in this song. The three vocal styles used all fit their place in this song. Would be boring if it would have stayed with just one. They were used well.

Music

I enjoy the guitar riffs in this song. They feel dark but not overpoweringly so at times, and then change to more energetic. 

Lyrics

I think this might be referring to death being like going back to the beginning that was nothing. The darkest days may be referring to how you would never remember being born or your youngest years. You won't remember all the things you worked on in life. Any love that you gave is all going to disappear. I tend to be more hopeful than this song, about there being meaning in life, but I respect that things really do seem pointless or difficult sometimes and we really can't figure out the why.
