Vocals

The vocal works. I prefer when he takes it up a notch and gets a little more intense.

Music

I like that the music has changes and is segmented by them. I did feel that I absolutely needed the changes when they happened. The main guitar riff during the first half reminds me of something I have heard before in other bands from the genre.

Lyrics

I think this is talking about following people blindly. When you are a child you have to assume caregivers have your best interest in mind (though I know they don't always). But, as you get older, you have to figure things out for yourself. It seems like the person is stuck staying like a child.
