Vocals

I am really impressed with the places these vocals go. That faint chant at the start actually worked, the opening scream that is moving forward nicely, the higher scream, the singing is nice, the more desperate call, the talking scream. I like the variety, and I feel like all the elements are done well. Memorable.

Music

The music has enough dynamics to keep this girl's attention. It felt like the elements came together nicely and were moving along in journey-like fashion. The symphonic elements made it different. This song has made me need to check out more from this band!

Lyrics

This probably has a very personal meaning behind it, but it makes me think of people turning to stone, as seen in many fantasy worlds/shows, even kids movies. In this case, turning to stone feels inevitable, and the person doesn't feel like it is worth fighting against. I like how it turns around and has a call to action, reminding not to give up, though we can sense distrust here.
