Vocals

I find this type of vocal very annoying. I call them G.I. Joe vocals. Just no life in them. And that half-pig-squeal... not great.

Music

Hard to follow the layout of this song. The breakdowns decreased my enjoyment. It didn't make any sense to me when the synth abruptly made an appearance during a breakdown. There was a brief portion around 2:53 that sounded decent. Maybe the combination of drumming and better use of the synth combined with a higher vocal, but it didn't last long. The music just feels barren, despite the efforts.

Lyrics

I think these lyrics speak to people's daily regret, but more so what kind of regret we would feel if we were terminally ill and didn't know how much life was left. Would we be able to find something positive to do or dwell on what was done wrong?
