He has an intensity to the way he does his vocal that I like. Because he has a fry to his singing vocal, it makes me like the singing as well. There are few people that do this in a way I like. I feel like his sound is recognizable as him

Music

The music is catchy and gets in my head instantly. 

The intro and outro make it feel reflective.

The drums keep the pace moving forward. I like the contrast between the more energetic parts and the more melodic chorus on guitar. 

Lyrics

This song feels very vulnerable. I felt quite emotional, listening to it. 

I think it is talking about how some things are hard. And we can coast along and not do anything, or we can fight. It feels motivational, the way you can throw your fist in the air at a show, if you are feeling the music. It brings people together. This feels like a call to action.
