That vocal is quite high, but I actually like it.

Music

I like the deep opening lines. It had me interested. The music moves forward nicely. The bridge adds some atmosphere. This song captures that melancholic vibe.

Lyrics

I am learning about this, but it is hard because death is such a heart-wrenching experience. I think it is an experience where we need to focus on the one who is dying. How can we help them be comforted, to do death well? 

With that last breath 
and no given hand to hold
How cruel it is
to have to it end like this
Afraid and alone
Where is the comfort
To soothe them on their way
