There seems to always be moments within Pain of Salvation songs when I wonder if it still him singing. Sometimes he goes very high! The backing vocals have me wondering? Obviously he can sing. It feels kinda intense, but in a soft way. He does lots of things with it. I really don't like the voice he does half-way through - it is kinda rappy. I wasn't a big fan of the talking part. Maybe if he hadn't repeated so many times?

Music

The music has a choppy and upbeat quality to it at times. It doesn't feel traditional in any way. Not easy to follow. It feels like it is a few songs in one. Twangy parts are odd to me.

Lyrics

The title is signaling that this song is about being outside of expected/acceptable behaviour.

I think overall this song is addressing being really ruled by sexual desire. It seems that the person that this is written about is in a relationship but desires to have sexual relationships with other people. Every time he does, it isn't what he was looking for. He is driven to the next one, and the next one. He isn't happy with how he is. Sounds like he isn't cut out to be in a committed relationship, but underneath he thinks it is what he wants.

This seems young, to me, to be so into sex. Makes me think that there was something inapproprate that happened to him as a child. Exposure really young or molestation?
