That rapping, in the verses... No. The singing is actually not better to me. That bit at 1:05 feels almost Mike Patton-esque. That buildup at 3:18, where he says, "let me the fuck out", the first time, was so cheezy. lol

Music

The music is moving forward and feels very happy, considering the subject matter is fearful. I guess it is giving people the get up and go, if this is your thing. The opening line got my hopes up, but it didn't go anywhere I was hoping for.

Lyrics

At first this appeared to be about anxiety or fear that seems worse at night, but then it touched on sleep paralysis, which I get the feeling, people are very curious about. If my hand falls asleep and I cannot control it, I find it upsetting, so... Not something I have experienced. I have been the opposite, and acted out my dreams, and moved around in my sleep...
