This song was my introduction to Soreption.

Vocals

I like that this vocal is very deep but it ends in a higher pitch at times, and other times just varies by being higher. The pace also varies from drawn out words to a quick delivery which I like. Nice!

Music

I like how it moves around from the dark riffs to more technical elements, slower drumming to furious parts.  A fair bit of soloing, but it feels more like a part of the song rather than "the solo part."

Lyrics

I think this song is speaking to the ideas that hold us captive. Such as, what is expected? Maybe it is our own expectation? Maybe we never thought much about things, and just do something because we always did?

It speaks to the reality that we all have moments that we are cowards. We are all human.
