Vocals

I only just realized that this is actually two vocalists, so I guess it speaks to how well the voices work together. I prefer the screaming voice, it just sounds so passionate. The singing voice is good for what it is, but really needs the other vocal to work for me.

Music

I like that this music seems heavier overall than what I have previously heard from them. The layout kept my attention. It wasn't a completely predictable format, nor was it hard to follow. It surprised me in a good way.

Lyrics

This actually makes me think of this pandemic. There are many things that many people once took for granted. Being able to comfort loved ones going through sickness, to give family a hug, meet a newborn baby, have a get together, see someone's face. And when it is gone is when we finally realize what we had. I also think of times I have been taken for granted in my lifetime. Unfortunately, the times are many.
