The vocals here are pretty good for this style. She stayed consistent.

Music

Low key. There is something grungy about this song by this band at least. There is no point where it escalates out of control. It is pretty predictable, but easy to listen to.

Lyrics

I think when the word ritual is used in this song it is referring to an almost habitual behaviour that people have found themselves doing. The way that winter is used makes me think of almost a period of time where you are closing yourself off and sleeping or laying dormant. You are just falling into doing what you always do and in the back of your mind you are hoping for spring. Spring is like the sign of a coming positive change.
